The folks at Read Write Web have summarized some of the great new content in Google Earth 5.0. An application like this can truly bring learning alive! I would love to see Skype integration layer within Google Earth. Imagine calling a classroom in NYC within Google Earth and students you are calling navigating your earth to take you places while you chat. Who knows there may even already be such a layer.
